Selecting the appropriate impact resistant glass make-up is an important part of your window and door selection

Superior energy efficiency makes High Performance series glass a smart choice for a wide variety of climate conditions especially in buildings where air conditioning is used

Hi-performance glass

This is the selection of Hi Performance glass, made for different visual options with a range of solar heat gain and thermal insulation levels to choose from.

A low-e glass window is simply a windowpane coated in microscopic layers of metallic oxides. The coating appears invisible to the naked eye, allowing as much natural light into the house as possible. However, though transparent, this coating also protects your home from unwanted UV rays which can burn your skin, fade your carpets, and damage your furniture.

Plus, it also helps to control radiant heat (infrared light) as it enters and leaves a room. In other words, it keeps your house warmer in the winter by reflecting certain segments of the sun’s light spectrum back into the home, and cooler in the summer by reflecting particular sections outside. This saves on unnecessary utility expenses while creating a more comfortable living environment.

Types of Glass

The glass you choose for your windows and doors can dramatically increase the energy efficiency of your home. We are proud to offer laminated glass, and laminated insulating glass options that all contribute to decreased indoor energy usage, as well as lower heating and cooling costs.

Superior energy efficiency makes High Performance series glass a smart choice for a wide variety of climate conditions especially in buildings where air conditioning is used.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is created by adhering two pieces of annealed glass together by a vinyl layer. This layer will continue to hold the glass together in the event that it is struck or dropped. Laminated glass also offers superior sound-proofing characteristics.

Laminated Insulated Glass

Insulating Glass Units are two or more lites of glass separated and hermetically sealed to form a single-glazed unit with an air space between each lite (commonly called IG units).

Single Hung Window

Single Hung Window

Single hung impact windows deliver classic style, easy operation and value driven protection ideal for bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

The Single Hung impact window pairs traditional proportions with modern performance. The lower sash moves vertically while the top sash remains fixed, providing reliable ventilation and secure weather protection in a compact footprint. Built for coastal and storm-prone environments, these windows are offered in equal and unequal vent configurations, optional radius or ProView/Oriel shapes, and custom sizes to suit retrofit and new construction needs.

Benefits for homeowners:

  • Classic aesthetic that fits traditional and modern homes while providing tested impact protection when specified.

  • Improved indoor comfort and lower energy use thanks to multi-chamber frames and tight seals.

  • Quiet, reliable operation with low-profile locks and balanced lifting systems.

  • Low maintenance hardware and finishes designed for coastal conditions.

  • Flexible customization for ventilation preferences, sightlines and specialty shapes.

Horizontal Roller Window

The Horizontal Roller impact window blends elegant, modern sightlines with durable, performance driven engineering.

Designed as a “moving picture” window, it rolls horizontally on precision rollers to provide wide, unobstructed views and flexible ventilation while meeting the higher performance demands of coastal and hurricane-prone regions. Built with multi-layer laminated or tempered impact glass and reinforced frames, these windows are engineered to resist windborne debris, reduce air infiltration and improve thermal comfort.

Benefits for homeowners:

  • Maximizes daylight and sightlines while providing tested impact protection.

  • Improves energy performance and reduces HVAC load with performance glazing.

  • Enhances interior comfort through noise reduction and tighter seals.

  • Low upkeep hardware and materials built for salty, coastal climates.

  • Flexible design integrates with contemporary kitchens, baths and living areas.

Horizontal Roller Window

Fixed Window

Fixed Window

Fixed (picture) impact windows deliver maximum daylight and unobstructed views in custom shapes and sizes while providing high performance glazing and low-maintenance durability.

Fixed windows also called «picture windows» are non operable glazing units designed to deliver uninterrupted sightlines and abundant natural light. Available in standard rectangles as well as radius, arched, triangular and custom architectural shapes, fixed windows are ideal as standalone features or mulled with operable units to create striking vignettes.

Benefits for homeowners:

  • Maximizes daylight and panoramic views while maintaining a clean aesthetic.

  • Superior air and water performance compared with comparable operable units.

  • Enhances interior comfort through reduced solar heat gain and improved acoustics

  • Ideal for creating dramatic focal points, clerestories or continuous glazing runs.

  • Durable, low-maintenance solution well-suited to South Florida climates.

Casement Window

Casement windows hinge at the side and open outward, providing excellent ventilation control, clear sightlines and an airtight seal when closed.

Available as single, double (one left, one right) or triple configurations (one fixed center with operable flanking units), casement windows are a versatile choice for both new construction and retrofit projects. For coastal and storm-prone installations, select impact-rated casement models with laminated multi-layer glass and reinforced frames to combine natural ventilation with tested protection.

Benefits for homeowners:

  • Superior natural ventilation control the full width opening directs airflow into the space for rapid purge ventilation.

  • Excellent sealing performance when closed casements compress seals uniformly, offering better air/water performance than many sliding units.

  • Improved energy efficiency with performance glazing and airtight frames lower heating/cooling loads and better indoor comfort.

  • Practical design for tight spaces foldaway handles and outward operation preserve interior sightlines and maximize usable interior space.

  • Ease of maintenance washable hinges allow safe cleaning of both sides of the glass from indoors.

  • Security and resilience multi point locks and impact rated glazing options provide both day to day safety and storm readiness.

Casement Window

Awning Window

Awning Window

Awning windows hinge at the top and open outward from the bottom, offering controlled airflow and reliable protection from rain even when slightly ajar.

Their practical geometry makes them perfect for clerestories, high walls and narrow exterior walls where ventilation is required but operability or exterior clearance is limited. Modern awning models include a foldaway or nesting handle that clears interior treatments, multi-point locking for enhanced security and options for mulled configurations to create vertical or horizontal groupings that blend with casement and fixed picture windows.

Benefits for homeowners:

  • Provide ventilation even during light rain without allowing water intrusion.

  • Perfect for high windows and clerestories where inward-swinging units are impractical.

  • Enhance daylight and airflow while maintaining sightline consistency with adjacent windows.

  • Tight seals and multi-point locks improve energy performance and security.

  • Durable components and impact-rated glazing options deliver long service life in coastal climates.
